Albert N. Bourbeau

February 13, 1936 ~ October 25, 2017 (age 81) 81 Years Old


Mr. Albert N. Bourbeau, 81, of Milford MA, died unexpectedly on Wednesday (October 25, 2017) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after being stricken at home. He was the beloved husband of Anna I. (Perry) Bourbeau.

 

Mr. Bourbeau was born in Franklin MA, the son of the late Ernest and the late Florence (Redpath) Bourbeau. He attended Franklin public schools and was a Korean Conflict veteran having served in the US Army.

 

Mr. Bourbeau was first employed as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Consigli Construction Company. He later was employed at the Milford Water Company, from which he retired.

 

Mr. Bourbeau was a longtime member of the Maspenock Rod & Gun Club and also a member of the Medway VFW. He enjoyed camping on Cape Cod at Scenic Park and also spending time at his house in Brownfield ME. He also enjoyed canoeing, snowmobiling, archery and fixing old tractors. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren & great grandchildren.

 

Along with his beloved wife of sixty-one years, he is survived by 1 Son: Dennis J. Bourbeau of Milford MA; 1 Daughter: Michelle L. Bourbeau of Milford MA; 1 Daughter-in-law: Faith A. Bourbeau of Milford MA; 5 Grandchildren: Christopher Bourbeau, Jeremy Bourbeau, Kimberly Hearnlay and her husband Matt, Jocelyn Carvahlo and her husband “Jr.”, and Janna Tardif; 7 Great Grandchildren: Ben, CJ, Brian, Cecelia, Nathan, Brandon and Travis; 1 Sister: Lois Hyldburg of Franklin MA; 1 Brother: Frederick Bodge of Buzzards Bay MA; and many nieces & nephews.

 

Mr. Bourbeau was the brother of the late James Redpath; the late Lorraine Cronin and the late Ernest Bourbeau.

 

His funeral services, with Military Honors, will be held Monday (October 30th) at 10am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. In accordance with his wishes cremation will follow. Visiting hours will be held Sunday (October 29th) from 2pm to 5pm at the funeral home.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Division of Development, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline MA 02445.
