Mrs. Claire Rose Marie (Niro) Bouchard, 98, of Milford MA, died Wednesday (January 10, 2018) at Blaire House of Milford after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Dona J. Bouchard, who died in 1988.
Mrs. Bouchard was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Frank A. Niro Sr. and the late Rosalinda (Tomasini) Niro. She attended Milford public schools and was a graduate of the David Hale Fanning Girl’s Trade School located in Worcester MA.
Mrs. Bouchard had been employed at Valtech from 1966 to 1985. Prior to that she had been employed at Singer Sewing Machine Co. and the former W. T. Grant & Company store in Milford. She was a lifelong resident of Milford and a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
Mrs. Bouchard is survived by 1 Brother: Daniel A. Niro Sr. & 1 Sister: Jennie Dore , both of Milford MA. Also more than 100 nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Frances Donnelly of Woonsocket RI; the late John J. Niro of Boynton Beach FL; the late Frank A. Niro Jr. of Apopka FL and the late Marie Caudry of Lake Mary FL.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday (January 17th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in the Lower Chapel of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow and a private committal service at Sacred Heart Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
