Mrs. Concetta “Connie” M. (Celeste) Abretti, 93, of Mendon MA, died Wednesday (January 10, 2018) at the Blaire House of Milford after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph V. “Lou” Abretti, who died in 2007.
Mrs. Abretti was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Giuseppe and the late Angiolina (Niro) Celeste. She graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1942, winning the American Legion Award. She then attended the Milford Hospital School of Nursing in 1943 and was a nurse for twenty years at Milford Hospital.
Mrs. Abretti is survived by her son: Marc V. Abretti of Uxbridge MA; her daughter: RobynCeleste Abretti; also several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday (January 18th) at 10am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Thursday (January 18th) from 9am to 10am, prior to her funeral services.
