Elaine J. (Gibson) Nesta

Mrs. Elaine J. (Gibson) Nesta, 80, of Milford MA, died Wednesday (August 31, 2016) at Blaire House of Milford after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Nesta, who died in 2013.

Mrs. Nesta was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Ernest and the late Winifred (Wilson) Gibson. She attended Hopedale and Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School, Class of 1954.

Mrs. Nesta had been employed for many years as a clerk at the former New England Telephone Company, retiring in 1990. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Milford and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Nesta is survived by 1 Daughter: Jyll M., wife of William Buckley of Milford MA; 1 Son: Gregory J. Nesta of Milford MA; 4 Grandchildren: Taryn Buckley Barlow and her husband Raymond of Milford MA, Travis Buckley of Milford MA, Ryan Nesta of Milford MA and Allison Nesta of Milford MA; 2 Great Grandsons: Corey Barlow and Grady Barlow of Milford MA; also several nieces & nephews.

Mrs. Nesta was the sister of the late Nancy Ferretti and the sister-in-law of the late Thomas Ferretti.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday (September 6th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (UPPER CHURCH), 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow and a private committal service will be held at the convenience of her family. Visiting hours will be Monday (September 5th) from 5pm to 8pm.
