Frank Angelo Bulso

December 10, 1922 ~ July 10, 2017 (age 94) 94 Years Old


Mr. Frank A. Bulso, 94, of Hopedale MA and formerly of Milford MA, died Monday morning (July 10, 2017) at Atria Draper Place after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of Pauline (Cervone) Bulso.

 

Mr. Bulso was born in Milford MA, the son of the late Joseph and the late Mary (Tieuli) Bulso. He was a graduate of Milford High School and was a WW II US Army veteran.

 

Mr. Bulso had served as a member of the Milford Fire Department for 28 years, attaining the rank of Lieutenant, retiring in 1985. He also had worked part-time at the former Curran Lumber and former Abretti Lumber.

 

Mr. Bulso was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. He was also a longtime member of the Italian-American Veterans Post #40 of Milford and the VFW Post #1544 of Milford. He was also a member of the Milford Firefighters Association and the Massachusetts Firefighters Association.

 

Mr. Bulso was an accomplished three sport athlete at Milford High School and was a member of the inaugural class of the Milford High School Hall of Fame as a three sport letter athlete. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and NE Patriot fan and had been active in the Italian-American Veterans Post bocce league and the seniors candlepin bowling league. He also loved tending to his garden.

 

Along with his beloved wife of 62 years, he is survived by his 4 Children: Jane, wife of John Mangini of Milford MA, Nancy Bulso of Milford MA, Joseph Bulso and his wife Mary of Blackstone MA and John Bulso of Milford MA; 5 Grandchildren: Lindsay, Hannah, Maisey, Hailey and Ryan; also several nieces & nephews.

 

Mr. Bulso was the brother of the late Mary Onistzuk and the late Anna Gentile.

 

His funeral, with Military Honors, will be held Friday (July 14th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (UPPER CHURCH), 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Thursday (July 13th) from 4pm to 7pm. 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Cancer Care Fund at Milford Regional Medical Center, c/o the Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation, 14 Prospect Street, Milford MA 01757.
