Joseph Peter Keenan

Mr. Joseph P. Keenan, 48, of  Pawtucket RI died Friday (January 19, 2018) at Miriam Hospital in Providence RI. He was the husband of Billy D. Partain.

Mr. Keenan was born in Framingham MA, the son of Peter F. Keenan and the late Mary L. (Swift) Keenan. He attended Milford public schools and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1987. He was also a graduate of the Mansfield Academy.

Mr. Keenan had been employed as a hair stylist at Impulse Hair Designs located in Providence RI. He was a communicant of St. Theresa of the Child Catholic Church located in Pawtucket RI and had served as a eucharistic minister.

Mr. Keenan was an avid snow skier and loved spending time at the beach, especially at Second Beach in Middletown RI. He also loved music and was a movie buff.

Along with his husband of twenty years, Billy D. Partain, he is survived by his father, Peter F. Keenan of Quincy MA; his sister: Patricia M. Greene of Milford MA; 2 nieces: Megan Greene and Shannon Greene of Boston MA; also many other family members in the Milford  area.

His funeral will be held Thursday (January 25th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Wednesday (January 24th) from 5pm to 8pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
