Mrs. Josephine L. (Tobio) DeGeorge, 91, of Milford MA died Wednesday (February 21, 2018) at Medway Country Manor in Medway MA after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert L. DeGeorge, who died in 2015.
Mrs. DeGeorge was born in Boston MA, the daughter of the late Bert and the late Beatrice (Egizio) Tobio. She attended Boston public schools and had resided in Milford for most of her life. She was a devoted housewife and mother. She loved to play bingo and gamble, and also loved to watch figure skating and the NE Patriots.
She is survived by her 2 Sons: Leonard DeGeorge and his wife Jane of South Yarmouth MA and Albert “Chick” DeGeorge and his wife Patricia of Milford MA. 4 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; 1 Brother: Chick Tobio of Maine; and her best friend: Mrs. Jen Cistoldi of Milford MA.
In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place followed by a Private Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street in Milford. Burial of her cremains will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford. There are no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford.
