June M. (Consoletti) McKellick

Mrs. June M. (Consoletti) McKellick, 61, of Franklin MA and formerly of Milford MA died Monday evening (May 8, 2017) at Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence A. McKellick Jr.

Mrs. McKellick was born in Milford MA, daughter of the late Benjamin and the late Janice (Harding) Consoletti. She attended attended Milford public schools and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1972. She was also a graduate of Quinnsigamond Junior College in Worcester MA.

Mrs. McKellick spent her early years as a devoted housewife and mother, raising her children. She later was employed at Boston Scientific and finally as a supervisor at Peter Roberts & Associates located in Milford MA.

While residing in Milford, she had been an active communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, serving as a eucharistic minister and as a CCD teacher. She was also active in the Milford Baseball League and was instrumental in the establishment and operation of the concessions stand at Rosenfeld Park.

Mrs. McKellick loved her family trips to Cape Cod and then later to the coast of Maine. She also loved her casino trips to Las Vegas, to Atlantic City and to Foxwoods. She also loved to garden and loved to cook, but most of all, loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved granddaughters.

Along with her beloved husband of 43 years, she is survived by 2 Sons: Lawrence A. McKellick III of Franklin MA and Benjamin McKellick and his wife Kim of Franklin MA; 2 Granddaughters: Ava McKellick and Natalie McKellick of Franklin MA; 1 Sister: Marie, wife of William Loosemore of Auburn MA; also many nieces & nephews.

Mrs. McKellick was the sister of the late Nicholas Consoletti, the late Nancy Norris and the late Janice Kennelly.

Her funeral will be held Friday (May 12th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Thursday (May 11th) from 5pm to 8pm.
