Marilyn Frances (Murphy) Dupre

Mrs. Marilyn F. (Murphy) Dupre, 89, of Milford MA, died Sunday (September 10, 2017) at the Ballou Home Nursing Center in Woonsocket RI after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Alphonse F. Dupre Sr., who died in 1998.

Mrs. Dupre was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Harold and the late Katherine (Micolette) Murphy. She attended Milford public schools and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1946.

Mrs. Dupre had been employed as a telephone operator at the Milford office of the former New England Telephone Company, retiring as a supervisor.

Mrs. Dupre is survived by her 4 Children: Roxanne, wife of Anthony Arena of Milford MA, Alphonse Dupre Jr. of Woonsocket RI, Timberly Ortega, wife of the late Orlando Ortega of Milford MA and Haleigh-Rose, wife of Diego Perilla of Hoboken NJ; 2 Step-Sons: Edward Dupre of Sterling MA and Robert Dupre of Northbridge MA; 7 Grandchildren: Stashia Ortega, Ezra Ortega, Rhianna Corrinet, Michelle Miller, Cheryl Forzia, Ryan Dupre and Andrea Dupre;  5 Great Grandchildren: Isaiah Lane, Aariyellis Bufford, Trevor Dupre, Kylie Dupre and Danielle Miller; 1 Brother-in-law: Ronald Benoit of Blackstone MA; also many nieces & nephews.

Mrs. Dupre was the sister of the late Rosemary Murphy, the late Louise Benoit and the late Harold Murphy.

Her funeral will be held Friday (September 15th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Thursday (September 14th) from  5pm   to  8pm.
