Mary R. (Izzo) Cameron

            Mrs. Mary R. (Izzo) Cameron, 91, of Hopedale MA, died Friday (November 27, 2015) at Countryside Healthcare of Milford after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Wendell A. Cameron.

            Mrs. Cameron was born in Hopedale MA, the daughter of Leonardo and Grazzia (Verrelli) Izzo. She was a graduate of  Hopedale High School and had been employed at the former GE Telechron located in Ashland MA and the former Lisch Hat Shop in Milford. She was also a member of the Civil Air Patrol during WW II.

            Mrs. Cameron is survived by her Daughter: Barbara, wife of Donald Earl of Uxbridge MA; her Son: Glenn Cameron and his wife Linda of Milford MA; her 5 Grandchildren: Peter Cameron and his wife Nicole, Matthew Cameron and his wife Rachael, Kevin Earl and his wife Brooke, Cathy Earl and Cora Earl; 3 Great Grandchildren: Lilyanna, Kendall and Beckett.

            Mrs. Cameron was the mother of the late John “Jackie” Cameron.

            Funeral services will be private and are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Hopedale Village Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. Please visit www.edwardsmemorialfuneralhome.com for condolence book.
