Mary E. (Iannitelli) Genoa

           Mrs. Mary E. (Iannitelli) Genoa, 93, of Yarmouth MA and formerly of Milford MA died Monday (November  21, 206) in Yarmouth MA after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Genoa, who died in 1982.

            Mrs. Genoa was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Michael and the late Mary (Verrelli) Iannitelli, and  was a graduate of Milford High School.

            Mrs. Genoa had been employed for many years at GE Telechron Corporation in Ashland MA. She later moved to South Yarmouth MA where she worked for Stop & Shop grocery stores. While a resident of Milford she had been a member of the Hoboken Citizens Club Ladies Auxiliary.

            Mrs. Genoa is survived by 2 Sons: David “Tutta” Genoa and his wife Sandra of Milford MA and Michael Genoa and his wife Deborah of Yarmouth MA;  3 Grandchildren: Lauren Genoa, Michael Genoa Jr.and Jessica A. Ferro; 3 Great Grandchildren: Anthony Ferro, Ella Ferro and Sofia Genoa; also several nieces & nephews.

            Mrs. Genoa was the mother of the late Anthony “Tony” Genoa of Dennis MA who died in 2013 and the sister of the late Jennie Clancy of Yarmouth MA.

            Funeral services will be held Friday (December 2nd) at 1PM at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Friday (December 2nd) from12 Noon to 1pm, prior to her Funeral Service.
