Meghan Elizabeth McGrath

Ms. Meghan E. McGrath, 42, of Boca Raton FL and formerly of Hopedale MA died unexpectedly on Saturday (July 2, 2016) at the Del Ray Medical Center in Del Ray Beach FL. She was the beloved daughter of John J. and Donna M. (Mohan) McGrath.

Meghan was born in Framingham MA, the daughter of John J. and Donna M. (Mohan) McGrath. She attended Hopedale Public Schools and was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Worcester MA, Class of 1991. She was also a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford CT, Class of 1995, where she was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She received her Master of Business Administration from Columbia University in New York City.

Meghan began her professional career in New York City working for Ernst & Young and later Credit Suisse. She later was employed as a teacher at the Dalton School, also located in New York City. After moving to Florida, she became employed as Director of Admissions at CARE, Inc.

Meghan was a vibrant and active woman who was an accomplished athlete throughout her life and loved to run for exercise. She was also a member of the Junior Women’s League and an active volunteer for Achilles International.

Along with her beloved parents, she is survived by two sisters: Kristin McGrath, wife of David Bernstein of Richmond VA and Erin McGrath and her longtime companion Seth Boutilier, and their daughter Rowan Danielle, of Stoneham MA; also several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday  (July 12th)   at 12 NOON in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. A Private Committal Service will be held in Hopedale Village Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Monday (July 11th)  from  5pm to 8pm, at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. 

In lieu of flowers, her family encourages memorial donations to  The Jimmy Fund  or the March of Dimes.
