Dear Janice, Pat and Kate,

I am just hearing the tragic news about Michael's passing. No words can express how truly sorry I am for the pain that you all are experiencing.

Janice, I know you tried everything in your power to help your son. This is a parents worse nightmare. You are courageous and are not alone.

Pat, we go way back. You sat up in the stern setting the pace and leading the way. I sat in the bow watching out. I have your back always!

Kate, you were the best sister Michael could of ever had!

My sincerest condolences,

Mike Landgren

Dear Janice, so many years have gone by since we saw each other, however we did share some happy times. Life has so many ups and downs, sad and happy times. I am so very sorry to read about Micheal's passing. God be with you in this sad time.

Jan and Family,
There are no words to express how saddened I am at the loss of Mike. My heart is breaking thinking of what you all must be going through right now. He will be forever to me that adorable, energetic little boy roaming the neighborhood with Brian looking for the next something - good or bad - to get into. If it was trouble, as it so often was, they could always trust those smiles of theirs to win one or both of us over! You are a good mom, Jan, who never stopped trying. I know Mike knew just how much he was loved by all of you. I pray that you eventually find some peace knowing that. May there be comfort in the glimpses of that smiling little boy that you will see in his daughter Marietta and the knowledge that he will be remembered always by so many as that happy-go-lucky little boy.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Tynan family and friends. The Holy Scriptures give us comfort and hope. Our lord, Jesus Christ said in John 5:28: "Do not be amazed at this for the hour is coming in which all those in the "memorial tombs" will hear his voice and come out." Knowing of a resurrection and being able to see our loved ones again in the near future can give us comfort and hope. You can read more words of consolation from The Bible at: www.jw.org. We sincerely hope that these words can soothe your hearts.
Sincerely, Mike Catalano

Dear Janice,
Alice and I send our most heartfelt condolences regarding the passing of your son, Michael. We know the grief you're suffering since our son, Michael, was killed in a military helicopter crash 27 years ago. We still grieve after all this time. Our prayers go to you and your family and friends who were so close to Michael.
Love, Charlie and Alice.

Michael was named after his two grandfathers, Michael Koylowski and Vincent Tynan. Even though Michael was born after "Mickey's" passing it's evident that he inherited his sense of humor and that twinkle in his eye.
