Michael Vincent Tynan

May 28, 1981 ~ September 28, 2017 (age 36) 36 Years Old

Michael V. Tynan, 36 passed away at Milford Regional Medical Center on Thursday September 28, 2017. He leaves his daughter Marietta Evelyn Tynan, and her mother Amanda McElhanon of Plainville, his mother Janice Tynan of Hopedale, his brother Patrick Tynan and his wife Becky along with his niece Alice and nephew Ben of Middleton, Connecticut, his sister Kaitlyn Farrand and her daughter Isabella Farrand of Uxbridge as well as her daughter’s father Nicholas Farrand of Northbridge. He also leaves his Aunt Marianne Tynan of Saratoga Springs, New York, his Aunt Donna and Uncle Alan Villian of Holden. He was predeceased by his father Vincent J. Tynan (5/81946-5/17/2011).  Michael leaves not only family but many friends who have become a part of his family throughout the years.

Mike had a deep love for his daughter, Marietta, and loved spending time with her. They had a very special bond that only a father and daughter could have. They shared a love of music and Mike was convinced Marietta would follow in his footsteps and be a DJ. He was the youngest of three siblings and he loved his family like no other. As he got older and his addiction took over, his family would never leave his side. We would pray and hope that this would be the time that he could “beat” his addiction. He made all of us laugh with his outgoing and comedic personality.  As an uncle he was one of the best. He loved his nieces and nephew. He spent time living with his sister Kate, and niece Isabella, with whom he had a special bond. Michael was not just a son to his mother Janice and a brother to his sister Kate but they also considered him their best friend. He knew that he was extremely fortunate to have his family by his side throughout his life. We are forever grateful to have had him as a part of our lives for the time he was on earth and he will be forever in our hearts.

Mike loved music and would listen to it all day and night. He spent time as a DJ and loved to create new sounds on his turntables. One of Mike’s greatest memories, other than the birth of his daughter, was going to Ireland with his father Vincent J. Tynan (1946-2011). It was a trip that they would both never forget and a memory that he held so dearly to his heart. Mike also loved the beach, especially Long Beach in Gloucester, Ma. He was also a New England Patriots fan.

What defines him for his family and for those who knew him, was not his addiction but the memories that we have of him. The memories of things like hockey practice, surfing and ice skating. Or how we laughed together as a family. He is watching over all of us in Heaven and Mike will continue to live on through us and through our memories.

There will be a gathering for family and friends on Wednesday October 11, 2017 at Edwards Memorial Funeral Home 44 Congress Street Milford, Ma from 5-7p.m.

A private burial for family will be held later at St. John’s Cemetery in Worcester, Ma
