Perry P. Cacciola Sr.

January 11, 1928 ~ April 17, 2017 (age 89) 89 Years Old


 

Mr. Perry P. Cacciola Sr., 89, of Milford MA, died Monday (April 17, 2017) at Countryside Healthcare of Milford. He was the beloved husband of 63 years to the late M. Josephine (Costantino) Cacciola of Milford, who passed away February 14, 2017.

 

Born in Framingham MA, he was the son of the late Carmelo and M. Carmela (Ranieri) Cacciola. He was a 1946 graduate of Framingham High School and moved to Milford in 1953.

 

Mr. Cacciola was a WWII US Navy veteran. He was employed by General Motors Corporation in Framingham as a Reliability Supervisor and retired in 1984 after 30 years of employment. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Milford MA.

 

Perry was a Town Meeting member for the Town of Milford for many years and also worked the polls for elections. He was a member of the Italian Veterans of Foreign War club for many years.

 

Survivors include his children: Ronald Cacciola of Milford MA, Gary Cacciola of West Monroe LA, Karen Mirabito and her husband Frank of Wilmington MA, AnnMarie Kinhart and her husband Glenn of Milford MA, Perry Cacciola Jr. and his wife Donna of Milford MA and Stephen Cacciola and his wife Jennifer of Sunrise FL; Perry also enjoyed his 12 grandchilden: Deshae, Nichole, Christine, Joshua, Brittany, Jonathan, Taylor, Evan, Kyle, Christopher, Julia and Gianna; and one great grandson, Deacon.

 

He is also survived by his brother Mario Cacciola and his wife Mary of Bolton MA; his sister-in-law Joanne Cacciola of Falmouth MA; many dear nieces and nephews, dear cousins and dear friends.

 

He was pre-deceased by his brother Charles Cacciola of Falmouth MA.

 

His funeral, with Military Honors, will be held Monday (April 24th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (UPPER CHURCH), 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Sunday (April (23rd) from 3pm to 6pm.
