Mr. Primo F. Bonati, 87, formerly of Hopedale MA and Milford MA, died Wednesday (January 11, 2017) at St. Camillus Health Center in Whitinsville MA. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie N. (Marcello) Bonati, who died in 2016.
Mr. Bonati was born in Mendon MA, the son of the late Primo and the late Florence (Marenghi) Bonati. He was a graduate of the former St. Mary’s High School and also of the Worcester Boys Trade School. He was employed for many years as a carpenter and loved to tend to his garden.
He is survived by his 2 Sons: John Bonati and his wife Jennifer of Uxbridge MA and Joseph Bonati of Milford MA; 3 Grandchildren: Jesse Bonati, Jason Bonati and Olivia Bonati; 1 Sister: Doris Steinberg of Melbourne FL; also several nieces & nephews.
Mr. Bonati was the father of the late James “Jamie” Bonati who died in 2010 and the late Laurie Ann Bonati who died in 1961.
Visiting hours were held Sunday (January 15th ) from 2pm to 5pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Cremation has taken place and a Graveside Committal Service will be held Saturday, February 4th, at 10am at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P O Box #1000, Dept #142, Memphis TN 38101.
