Richard Allan Kingsbury Sr.

         Richard A. Kingsbury Sr., 87, of Milford, MA. died early Wednesday morning (December 26, 2012) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He was the husband of Theresa “Tess” R. (Speroni) Kingsbury.

He was born in Holliston, MA., the son of the late John and the late Nellie E. (Plympton) Kingsbury and resided in Holliston before moving to Milford (61) years ago.

Mr. Kingsbury was employed as a truck driver for Rosenfeld Concrete for (38) years retiring in 1989.

              He was a WWII US Coast Guard veteran and belonged to the Teamsters Local #170 and the Sgt. John W. Powers Post American Legion in Milford.

Besides his beloved wife of (61) years, he leaves (1) daughter, Patricia A. Kingsbury of Milford, MA.; (1) sister, Virginia Mae Grove of Bradenton, FLA.; several nieces and nephews.

He was the father of the late Richard A. Kingsbury Jr. who died in 2003 and the brother of the late John Kingsbury Jr.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday morning (January 2, 2013) at 11:00AM at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home 44 Congress Street Milford, MA. Burial with military honors will follow in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery Medway Road (Rte. 109.) Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:00AM-11:00AM just prior to the funeral service.
