Robert K. Lamora

Mr. Robert K. Lamora, 90, of Milford MA and formerly of Hopedale MA, died Tuesday evening (November 21, 2017) at his daughter’s residence after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of Jane E. (McGrath) Lamora.

Mr. Lamora was born in Milford MA, the son of the late Lawrence E. and the late Julia (DeGroote) Lamora. He was educated in the Milford public schools and was also a graduate of the former Worcester Boys Trade School.

Mr. Lamora was a WW II US Navy veteran and had served as a member of the Hopedale Fire Department for twenty-eight years. He was a member of the Elks, the American Legion and the VFW.

Along with his beloved wife he is survived by his daughter: Susan, wife of David Niro of Milford MA; 2 granddaughters: Nicole, wife of Bobby Cheschi of Milford MA and Corrie, wife of Jon Hughes of Bridgewater MA; 3 great grandchildren: Anthony Cheschi, Olivia Cheschi and Lillian Hughes; also several nieces & nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday (November 25th) at 12 NOON at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Hopedale Village Cemetery. A visiting hour will be Saturday (November 25th) from 11am to 12 Noon, prior to his funeral services.
