Mr. Robert W. Perham, 76, of Mendon MA, died Tuesday (February 21, 2017) at his residence after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Carol E. (Flynn) Perham.

 

Mr. Perham was born in Quincy MA, the son of the late Harold H. and the late Lottie Mae (Locke) Perham and was a graduate of Needham High School, Class of 1959.

 

Mr. Perham was a US Navy veteran having served during the Viet Nam War from 1960 to 1966. He later owned & operated a gas station in Needham MA. He later worked as a diesel truck mechanic for several years, working for American Precast Concrete, Sealtest Ice Cream Company and Braun’s Express. He also obtained his commercial drivers license and had driven truck for several years. He later worked as a driver for a hospital courier service and as an auto parts store courier.

 

Mr. Perham had been a resident of Mendon since 1983 and prior to that had resided in Bellingham. He loved to go camping, also loved country western music and had loved to play guitar and sing as a young man.

 

Along with his beloved wife, he is survived by 1 Daughter: Marilyn L., wife of Scott Dickerson of Chico CA; 1 Son: Robert H. Perham and his wife Adonia of Clearfield UT; 7 Grandchildren: Corynn Thomas, Wesley Thomas, Amber Perham, Autumn Perham, Christian Perham, Jonathan Perham and Matthew Perham; 1 Sister: Mildred, wife of William Souza of Rochester MA; also nieces & nephews.

 

In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. A Graveside Committal Service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne MA. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
