Thomas Vincent O'Neill

Mr. Thomas V. O’Neill, 74, of Blackstone MA and formerly of Milford MA died Sunday (May 15, 2016) at Milford Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health.

Mr. O’Neill was born in Milford MA, the son of the late T. Vincent and the late Helen L. (Provost) O’Neill. He was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1960 and also a graduate of Worcester State College, Class of 1964.

Mr. O’Neill had been active in Milford town politics and had served as a longtime town meeting member. He also had been a supporter of the original town leash law. He was also a member of the Friends of the Milford Town Library.

Mr. O’Neill’s family would like to acknowledge the loving care he afforded his late mother, Helen and his late aunt, Vera during the final years of their lives. And his family would like to thank the staff at DuCharme Estates in Blackstone MA for the loving care of their brother these past few years.

Mr. O’Neill is survived by 2 Brothers: Terrence J. O’Neill of Milford MA and William J. O’Neill of Winchendon MA; 1 Sister: Sheila, wife of Joseph Curran of Uxbridge MA; also several nieces & nephews.

Mr. O’Neill was the brother of the late Michael J. O’Neill and the late Brian P. O’Neill.

His funeral will be held Wednesday (May 18th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Tuesday (May 17th) from 5pm to 7pm.
