Thomas John Zogby

Mr. Thomas J. Zogby, 78, of Milford MA, died unexpectedly Wednesday (March 14, 2018) at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham MA. He was the beloved husband of Mary-Joan B. (Davoren) Zogby.

Mr. Zogby was born in Norwalk CT, the son of the late Louis M. and the late Ruth (Merriman) Zogby. He was a graduate of Norwalk High School, Class of 1957 and also a graduate of the University of Connecticut, Class of 1961. He also attained his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1965.

Mr. Zogby had a long and successful career as vice president of sales & marketing at numerous corporations over his early years. He later owned & operated his own office supply and printing company located in Cambridge MA. He also taught business classes at the Northeastern University night  school program.

Mr. Zogby was a US Army National Guard veteran. He also was a past-president of the Milford High School Boosters Club and had served as committee chairman for the Boy Scout Troop #2 in Milford. He was an avid fisherman, and also loved painting, drawing, sculpting and playing the piano.

Along with his beloved wife of 55 years, he is survived by his 3 children: Atty. John T. Zogby and his wife Marianne of Franklin MA, Dr. Matthew D. Zogby and his wife Aileen of Natick MA and Lucia Coplan, wife of Neil Coplan of Milford MA; 8 grandchildren: Ben Zogby, Leah Zogby, Tommy Zogby, Peter Zogby, Daniel Zogby, Aliyah Coplan, David Coplan and Joseph Coplan; 1 sister: Claire L. Zogby of New Hartford NY; several nieces & nephews. He was also the brother-in-law of Evelyn BonTempo, Tara DiMuccio, Thomas J. Davoren and the late Susanne Marino.

His funeral will be held Monday (March 19th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford. Visiting hours will be held Sunday (March 18th) from 5pm to 8pm.
