Anthony Paul Bufalo

Mr. Anthony Paul Bufalo, 75, of Hopedale MA died unexpectedly on Thursday (March 21, 2024) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after being stricken at home.

Paul was born in Framingham MA, the son of the late Anthony A. Bufalo and the late Dorothea J. (Tomasini) Bufalo. He attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School., Class of 1966. He was also a graduate of Nichols College.

Paul was first employed as a young man as a junior accountant for Catella & Young CPA. Following that he had been employed at Hood Enterprises. Then he began a  successful career as the owner of his own accounting business, which later became a successful payroll business, The Payroll Company, located on Water Street in Milford MA.

Paul loved to travel to Italy due to his Italian heritage. He was also an accomplished billiards player and was an avid car enthusiast, who had a number of cars in his “collection”.

Paul took great pride in the success of his business, The Payroll Company, and his ability to help others and always be there to “fix the problem”.  

Paul is survived by his 2 children: Matthew Bufalo and his wife Rose Bufalo of Milford MA and Sarah Bufalo of Plainville MA; his grandson: Paul I. Bufalo of Milford MA; his 3 siblings: Bonnie Bufalo-Derderian and her husband Jack Derderian of Milford MA, Bruce Bufalo of Milford MA and Dana Bufalo of Milford MA; also several nieces, nephews & cousins.

In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to his funeral on TUESDAY (April 2nd) at 9:00am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial of his cremains will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be held MONDAY (April 1st) from 5pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
