Carol Ann (Gary) Luke

Mrs. Carol A. (Gary) Luke, 81, of Milford MA died peacefully Monday evening (April 15, 2024) at her residence surrounded by her loving family after an illness. She was the beloved wife of Richard J. Luke.

Carol was born in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of the late John Gary and the late Agnes (Rexin) Gary. She attended Catholic schools in Syracuse as a young girl, graduating as valedictorian of her high school class.

Carol was employed as a dedicated home health aide at Primary Home Healthcare of Milford where she assisted elderly clients for over thirty years. Carol was a resident of Milford MA since 1980. Prior to that she resided in New York.

In her spare time, Carol enjoyed reading books, tending to her plants, and doing jigsaw puzzles, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family members and having Sunday dinners with her loved ones.

Along with her beloved husband of 60 years, she is survived by her 3 children: Michael Luke of Shrewsbury MA, Donna Pelletier of Milford MA and Christopher Luke and his wife Amy Luke of Fairfax VT; her 6 grandchildren: Jessica Pelletier and her fiancé Jay Mousseau of Milford MA, Ivy Krezinski and her husband Daniel Krezinski of Isle La Motte VT, Sydney Luke of Rochester NY, Samantha Pelletier of New York City NY, Colton Luke of Georgia VT and Cameron Pelletier of New London CT.; her brother: Howard Gary of Sacramento CA; also several nieces & nephews.

A Private Funeral will be held Monday (April 22nd) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
