Concetta Eleanor (Grassi) Pettinari

Mrs. Concetta E. “Connie” (Grassi) Pettinari, 96, of Milford MA died Wednesday (April 17, 2024) at Countryside Healthcare of Milford after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Adelio Pettinari, who died in 1995.

Connie was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Domenico Grassi and the late Assunta (Tocci) Grassi. She attended Milford grammar schools & Milford High School.

Connie was a lifelong resident of Milford MA and a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Milford MA. She had been employed as a stitcher for many years at the former Milford Shoe factory.

Connie loved to cook and loved spending time with her beloved family members.

Connie is survived by her daughter: Karen A. Calagione of Milford MA; her 6 grandchildren: Justin Lake, Matthew Lake, Jennifer Rolo, Justine Calagione, Christian Fenoff and Natalie Fenoff; her 6 great grandchildren: Myah, Connor, Haylee, Riley, Antonio and Enzo; her sister: Nanella DiCamillo of Milford MA and formerly of Franklin MA; also several nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.

Connie was the mother of the late Pamela S. Fenoff who died this past March and the sister of the late Americo Grassi; the late Guido “Jack” Grassi; the late Josephine Rogers and the late Amalia Acquafresca.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday (April 24th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, (UPPER CHURCH) 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Wednesday (April 24th) from 8:30am to 9:30am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, prior to her Funeral Mass.
