Joanne Pelletier Obituary

Joanne Rose (Grensavitch) Pelletier, 85, of St Petersburg, FL. formerly of Shrewsbury MA. died, unexpectedly on Sunday, February 11th while at home. Her passing has left us broken hearted. She is survived by her husband Ronald W. Pelletier of 66 years.

Joanne was born in Worcester MA, the daughter of the late Adolph Grensavitch and the late Rose Ange (Beauregard) Grensavitch.

Joanne, also affectionately known as “Honey”, exuded a beautiful smile and had stunning blue eyes. She loved a good laugh and often referred to herself as “Lucy”. She was fun and goofy, the life of a party. She was lovingly known as “Diva” here in Florida because she always dressed so classy.

Joanne was a Navy wife and stay at home mom who moved around the country quite frequently with her family. Hawaii was by far her favorite place! She maintained many special long-term relationships of those she met along the way. Once you were her friend you became part of her family. She was a very generous, kind soul. Joanne loved to bargain shop. Some of her favorites were Spags, Building 19, Salvation Army and Amazon. She would shower her friends and family with gifts “just because”. that made her happy. She would decorate her entire home for every holiday and made them special for her family.

She loved dancing, attending concerts with her daughter, casinos, talking on the phone. She also camped at the previous Jellystone Campground in Sturbridge.

Joanne also collected Angels, and elephants, loved her Saints, prayed the rosary every day.

Joanne enjoyed People magazine and watching Yellowstone and Americas Got Talent.

She made the best homemade chicken soup and loved a good homemade spaghetti sauce. Family gatherings were very important to her. She had 4 brothers and loved them all dearly. Her one wish was that family and friends knew how much she loved them!
