Mark Vincent Bissanti

Mr. Mark  V.  Bissanti,  63, of Franklin MA died unexpectedly on Friday (April 19, 20024) at his residence.

Mark was born the son of the late Andrew E. Bissanti and the late Gloria C. (Dubbiosi) Bissanti. He attended Wrentham MA public schools and was a graduate of King Phillip High School, Class of 1978. He was also a graduate of Roger Williams College, Class of 1982.

While attending Roger Williams College Mark enrolled in the US Army ROTC program and went on to serve a distinguished career in the US Army where he attained the rank of Captain. While serving in the US Army he had served as a member of the Green Berets in the Special Forces Unit.

Upon completion of his career in the US Army he returned to reside in Wrentham MA, and later had resided in Franklin MA for the past 25 years. Following his military service, Mark began his successful career working in the insurance industry first working for All State Insurance Company. He later worked for 30 years at Quincy Mutual Insurance Company as a claims administrator, recently retiring.

Mark was an avid outdoorsman who loved hiking. He also was a motorcycle enthusiast who owned numerous Harley-Davidson motorcycles over the years.

Mark is survived by his sister: Cabiria Mazzuchelli and her husband Paul Mazzuchelli of Milford MA; his sister-in-law: Christina Bissanti of Bellingham MA; his nieces & nephews: Francesca Bissanti of Franklin MA, Vanessa Bissanti of Franklin MA, Serena Bissanti of Woonsocket RI, Atty. Andrew Mazzuchelli and his wife Amelia of Washington DC, and Matthew Mazzuchelli of Chestnut Hill MA; also several aunts, uncles & cousins.

Mark was the brother of the late Andrew of Franklin MA.

In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. A Private Graveside Committal Service will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Franklin MA. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
