Beverly L. (Gardner) Forsythe

Mrs. Beverly L. (Gardner) Forsythe, 68, of Milford MA died Tuesday (January 16, 2018) at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of James R. Forsythe.

Mrs. Forsythe was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late William and the late Mabel (Corcoran) Gardner. She attended Milford public schools and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1969.

Mrs. Forsythe was first employed as a young woman at the former Draper Corporation located in Hopedale MA. She later was employed at the former Home National Bank in Milford for over fifteen years and then at the Milford National Bank & Trust Company until December 2016, when she retired.

Mrs. Forsythe loved to travel but most of all loved spending time with her family.

Along with her beloved husband of 43 years, she is survived by her daughter: Tracy, wife of Lindsay Parker of Swampscott MA; 2 granddaughters: Callyn Parker and Avery Parker of Swampscott MA; 2 sisters: Kathy, wife of Raymond Brunelle of Orlando FL and Joanne, wife of Paul Boone of Milford MA; also several nieces & nephews. Beverly was the youngest of nine children.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday (January 31st)  at 10am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial of her cremains will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Wednesday morning (January 31st) from 9am to 10am, prior to her Memorial Service.
