Bruno Teofilo Landini Jr.

Mr. Bruno T. Landini Jr., 89,  of Milford MA, died Saturday (December 15, 2018) at Countryside Healthcare of Milford after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of Fabia “Fay” (Fickert) Landini.

Mr. Landini was born in Elizabeth Township, PA the son of the late Bruno T. Landini Sr. and the late Lydia (Saccani) Landini. He was a graduate of Elizabeth High School in PA, Class of 1947. He then graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Madison WI, Class of 1960. He later took graduate courses at Syracuse University, Purdue University and University of Minnesota.

Mr. Landini was a Korean Conflict veteran having served in the US Air Force from 1950 to 1954.

In 1960 he began his engineering career working for General Electric Company in Syracuse NY, where he was involved in the early stages of  transistor production. He later worked for Magnavox Corporation in Fort Wayne, Indiana working as a components engineer. He then worked for Honeywell Corporation in Minneapolis MN in their aerospace division on the Apollo 11 project, in San Diego CA in information storage,  and finally in Billerica MA for their computer division.

Mr. Landini was a resident of Milford MA since 1972 and prior to that had resided in San Diego CA, Minneapolis MN, Fort Wayne IN, Syracuse NY, Madison WI and Elizabeth PA.

Mr. Landini had many varied interests including playing the piano & guitar. He also was interested in photography and had volunteered as a photo-lab assistant. He also loved to bake bread and dinner rolls and served as a math tutor volunteer. He also enjoyed attending his 5th Command US Air Force reunions.

Along with his beloved wife of sixty-one years, he is survived by 3 Daughters: Kristine Stack and her husband Brian of East Longmeadow MA, Susan Daley and her husband Kevin of Sharon MA and Barbara Landini and her wife Debra Miller of Mesa AZ; 2 Brothers; Edward Landini and his wife Louise of N. Huntingdon PA and Earl Landini and his wife Gail of Livonia MI; 6 Grandchildren: Jonathan Stack of Broomfield CO, Mary Stack of Bayonne NJ, Anne Stack of Scarborough ME, Elizabeth Daley of Cleveland OH, Emilee Daley of New York City NY and Kristen Daley of Philadelphia PA; also several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated.. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will take place in St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Milford at the convenience of the family. Burial of his cremains will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford. There are no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home of Milford.
