Mrs. Celia M. (Cordeiro) Faria, 89, of Milford MA, died early Tuesday morning (July 18, 2017) at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham MA after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Herman M. Faria, who died in 1997.
Mrs. Faria was born in Cambridge MA, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Mary (Ferreira) Cordeiro. She attended Cambridge public schools as a young girl.
Mrs. Faria was a devoted housewife and mother and had also resided Medford MA, Haverhill MA, and New Port Richey FL.
She is survived by her daughter: Gale M., wife of Douglas Hall of Milford MA; her son: Dave Faria and his wife Deana of Young Harris GA; her brother: Joseph Cordeiro of Cape Cod MA; 5 Grandchildren: Christopher Hall of Somerville MA, Stacey Collins of Holliston MA, Derek Faria of New Port Richey FL, Danielle Alfieri of New Port Richey FL and Devon Faria of Ashville NC; 9 Great Grandchildren: Max Hall, Harry Hall, Will Hall & Jasper Hall of Somerville MA, Madelyn Collins, Simon Collins & Oscar Collins of Holliston MA, Brandon Davani & Aria Alfieri of New Port Richey FL.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday (July 24th) at 10am in the Chapel at St. Patrick’s Manor, 863 Central Street, Framingham MA. Private Graveside Committal Services will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell FL. Visiting hours will be held Sunday (July 23rd) at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA from 5pm to 8pm.
