Mrs. Charlene M. (Williams) Magliocca, 66, of Uxbridge MA, died Monday (October 21, 2019) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was the beloved wife of John M. Magliocca.
Charlene was born in Framingham MA, the daughter of the late Charles C. and the late Rose (Bonetta) Williams. She was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1972 and received her associate’s degree in nursing from Mass Bay Community College.
Charlene had been employed as a registered nurse for more than twenty years working in the health care industry first at the former Framingham Union Hospital. She later worked in the long term care industry working for the Wingate Healthcare System located in Needham MA where she served as Director of Quality, overseeing services provided at nineteen corporate centers. She specialized in dealing with Alzheimer’s Disease and its ramifications.
Charlene was an avid reader and loved spending vacation time with her family. She also enjoyed her pilates workouts.
Along with her beloved husband of forty-one years, she is survived by her sister: Carol, wife of Thomas Bardwell of Martha’s Vineyard MA.
In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life on Saturday (November 9th) from 11am to 1pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
