Daniel Robert Boone

Mr. Daniel R. Boone, 78, of Milford MA, died Thursday (January 4, 2018) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness.

Mr. Boone was born in Milford MA, the son of the late Spoffard and the late Filomena “Fannie” (Anzivino) Boone. He attended Milford public schools and was a longtime self employed painting contractor working in the Milford area.

Daniel was an avid animal lover who took great pleasure in his grand cat and dog, especially these last few months. Daniel was also an avid cook and every Sunday evening the entire family was invited to come over and have Sunday evening dinner with him and his son, Robbie. You never knew who would show up on any given Sunday, but there was always a crowd there to enjoy his cooking. He would spend the day cooking and there were always choices, not just one dinner. He used to make a great lasagna and a wonderful porketta.

Daniel was also an avid animal lover who took great pleasure in his grand cat and dog, especially these last few months. He also loved to walk (never drove) and he would walk all over Milford. Almost every day you would see him at one time or another on Main Street in Milford.

Mr. Boone is survived by his son: Robert D. Boone of Whitinsville MA; his 5 siblings: Joseph Anzivino of Milford MA, Irene Tougas of NH, Paul Boone of Milford MA,  Alfred Boone of Bellingham MA and Kathleen Ross of Uxbridge MA; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.

Following cremation a Graveside Committal Service will be held in Vernon Grove Cemetery in Milford MA on Saturday (January 20th) at 9am. There are no visiting hours.
