Mrs. Elena (Tersoni) D’Alesio, 90, of Milford MA, died Wednesday (October 4, 2017) at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester MA after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of Alfred R. D’Alesio.
Mrs. D’Alesio was born in Framingham MA, the daughter of the late Guiseppe and the late Teresa (Barani) Tersoni. She attended Framingham public schools, graduating from Framingham High School, Class of 1944.
Mrs. D’Alesio was first employed as a young woman at the Dennison Manufacturing company in Framingham MA as a billing clerk. She later worked at the Fernandes Supermarket located in Ashland MA. But her favorite job was that of being a devoted housewife and mother.
Mrs. D’Alesio was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Milford and a member of the church’s prayer group. She also served as a second generation member of the Framingham Heart Study.
Along with her beloved husband of 63 years, she is survived by her 3 Children: Joseph J. D’Alesio and his wife Robin of Norton MA, Paul A. D’Alesio and his wife Deborah of Orlando FL and Theresa A. Ellsworth and her husband Tom of Framingham MA; 2 Grandchildren: Danielle D’Alesio of Dallas TX and Katie Ellsworth of Framingham MA; 1 Brother: Louis Tersoni of Framingham MA; 2 Sisters: Adele D’Alesio of Milford MA and Josephine Leonardo of Framingham MA; also many nieces & nephews.
Mrs. D’Alesio was the sister of the late Mary Tersoni of Framingham MA.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday (October 10th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (UPPER CHURCH), 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Monday (October 9th) from 5pm to 8pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
