Frances Ann (Dolce) Vitale

Mrs. Frances A. (Dolce) Vitale, 88, of Milford MA and formerly of Hopkinton MA, died Wednesday (July 3, 2019) at Blaire House of Milford after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late John R. Vitale, who died in 2009.

Mrs. Vitale was born in the Brooklyn NY, the daughter of the late Vincent J. and the late Mary (Giusti) Dolce. She attended public schools in Brooklyn NY and was first employed as a young woman at the NDQ Candy Company, located in Brooklyn NY. She then became a devoted housewife and mother, raising her family. Later in life she was employed as the cafeteria manager at the McVey Elementary School in East Meadow NY.

Mrs. Vitale loved to cook and was an avid reader. She also loved to do gardening and also loved to watch the old time black & white movies. She had been a resident of Milford MA since 2014 and prior to that had resided in Hopkinton MA.

She is survived by her 4 Daughters: Mary L, wife of Frank Kullak of Shrewsbury MA, Donna M., wife of Michael Casasanta of Milford MA, Francine A., wife of Peter Dell’Accio of Huntington NY and Justine M., wife of Paul Legault of Arundel Quebec Canada; 6 Grandchildren: Robert Kullak, Christopher Kullak and his wife Jaimie, John Kullak and his wife Kristina, Francesca Casasanta, Michael Casasanta, and Joseph Legault; 5 Great Grandchildren: Robert T. Kullak, Ryan Kullak, Ava Kullak, Gavin Kullak and Dylan Kullak; several nieces & nephews and her beloved pet dog “Bella”.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday (July 9th) at 11am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow and a private committal service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne MA at the convenience of the family. A visiting hour will be held Tuesday morning (July 9th) from 10am to 11am, at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, prior to her funeral services.
