George Arthur Frederick

Mr. George A. Frederick, 70, of Milford MA and formerly of Milton MA, died unexpectedly on Sunday (October 8, 2017) at his residence.

Mr. Frederick was born in Boston MA, the son of the late Arthur M. and the late Grace P. (Herd) Fredrick. He was a graduate of Pleasant Hill High School in Pleasant Hill CA. He also attended Suffolk University.

Prior to residing in Milford he had been a resident of Milton MA and was a MA Army National Guard veteran.

Mr. Frederick was a certified electronics technician and had owned & operated Milford Electronics for many years. He was a member of the Montgomery Lodge of Freemasons in Milford MA and had served as a past grand master of the lodge.

He was a devoted father to his 3 children: Donna M. Frederick of Milford MA, Jason J. Frederick and his fiancée Lisa Phillips of Milford MA and Nathan A. Fredreick of Booth Bay Harbor ME; a beloved grandfather to Stevie-Grace Frederick and Ayla Grace Frederick; a loving step-father to Kent Welch of Grafton MA and Nicholas Welch of Sudbury MA; and a loving brother to Beverly, wife of Sam Najjar of Plymouth MA and Linda Chiavoli of Braintree MA; also survived by several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Frederick was the brother of the late Robert Allan Frederick.

A visitation period will be held Thursday (October 12th) from 4pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA with a Masonic Service conducted at 7pm. In accordance with his wishes cremation will follow and private committal services will be held at the convenience of the family.
