Inez Mullins Obituary

 

Mrs. Inez R. (Leahy) Mullins, 58, of Uxbridge MA, died unexpectedly on Sunday (June 23, 2019) at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Mullins.

 

Inez was born in Brattleboro VT, the daughter of the late Anthony J. Leahy Jr. and the late Mary G. (Gardner) Leahy. She attended Milford public schools and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1978.

 

Inez was first employed at the Mendon Diner as a young woman and then later employed at the former St. Gobain glass plant located in Milford. She later was employed at Kinder Care Pre School located in Milford.

 

Inez loved to read, especially murder mysteries and anything that had to do with the British royal family.

 

Along with her beloved husband of forty years, she is survived by her son, James A. Mullins of Uxbridge MA;    1 Brother: James J. Leahy of Milford MA; 4 Sisters: Kathleen Petrie of Bucksport ME, Elizabeth Kingdon and her husband James of Milford MA, June DePonte and her husband Robert of Uxbridge MA and Collen Orton and her husband Jonathan of Woonsocket RI; also several nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. Inez was the sister of the late Mary MacNeil.

 

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place and funeral services will be private. There are no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home of Milford MA.
