Isabel C. (Cohen) Wolf

Mrs. Isabel C. (Cohen) Wolf, 88, of Hopkinton MA, died early Thursday morning (November 14, 2019) at the Miriam Boyd/ Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland MA. She was the beloved wife of Robert E. Wolf.

Mrs. Wolf was born in New York City, NY the daughter of the late Morris and the late Zelda (Melnick) Cohen. She attended public schools in New York City and also attend Queens College.

Mrs. Wolf was a devoted housewife and mother in her early years. Later in life, she was employed as a bookkeeper working for various businesses. She also was a needlework demonstrator for Bernat Mills.

Mrs. Wolf had been a resident of Framingham MA for about twenty-five years beginning in 1966. She and her husband then retired to Boynton Beach FL for twenty-five years, returning to Massachusetts in 2017. While residing in Framingham MA, she was an active member of Temple Betham. She was also a longtime active member of Hadassah, a Jewish philanthropic organization throughout the world.

In addition to her beloved husband of seventy years, she is survived by her 3 Sons: David Wolf and his wife Karen of Mashpee MA, Bruce Wolf and his wife Connie of Milford MA and Mitchell Wolf and his wife Amy of Milford MA; 4 Grandchildren: Brandon Wolf of Duxbury MA, Jessica Wolf of Framingham MA, Alex Wolf and his fiancée Chantel Messier of Tewksbury MA and Lilly Wolf of Milford MA; 1 Sister: Elinor Rutman of Hallendale FL; also several nieces & nephews.

Mrs. Wolf was the sister of the late David Cohen of New York City, NY.

Private Funeral Services with Rabbi Melvin Kivman were held at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. A Graveside Committal Service was held Sunday (November 17th) at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Flushing NY.
