Mrs. Jacqueline K. (Meschino) Miano,, 72, of Northbridge MA and formerly of Milford MA, died Monday (December 24, 2018) at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston MA. She was the beloved wife of Michael J. Miano.
Mrs. Miano was born in the Bronx NY, the daughter of the late Gaetano and the late Jennie (Tominelli) Meschino. She was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Bronx NY, Class of 1964. She later attended college classes.
Mrs. Miano was first employed as a young woman at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company where she worked in the clerical department. She later was employed in upstate NY for the Carmel NY Central School Department working as a teacher’s aide with handicapped students. While residing in Milford she had been employed at the former Hill’s Food Service, working in the finance department. She later was employed at the offices of Dr. James Morin DDS, located in Milford MA. But her favorite pastime was that of being a devoted wife, mother & grandmother.
Mrs. Miano was an avid reader and also loved to cook.
Along with her beloved husband of fifty-two years, she is survived by 1 son: Louis A. Miano and his wife Julianne of Milford MA; 1 daughter: Lisa, wife of Kyle Tompkins of Blackstone MA; 3 grandchildren: Anthony Miano, Makayla Tompkins and Benjamin Miano; 1 sister: Frances, wife of Santo Orlando of Tucson AZ: and 2 nephews: Peter Orlando and Stephen Orlando.
In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday (January 19th) at 10AM in the Lower Chapel of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. There are no visiting hours.
