Janet Marie (Tellier) Beccia

Mrs. Janet M. (Tellier) Beccia, 88, of Mendon MA died Sunday morning (January 6, 2019) at Beaumont Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Westborough MA after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Louis A. Beccia, who died in 2017.

Janet was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Leo V. and the late Beatrice A. (Pelletier) Tellier. She was a graduate of the former St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1948.

Janet was first employed as a young woman as a telephone operator at the New England Telephone Company, working in the Milford office. She later was employed at GE-Telechron located in Ashland MA and finally at Fenwal Electronics in the Framingham and Milford locations.

Janet was an active member of the Mendon Senior Center. She loved to crochet and donated many of her items to the Mendon Senior Center for distribution to the needy. She also loved to do crossword puzzles and enjoyed watching her favorite soap operas.

Janet is survived by her 5 Children: Roberta DiPietro of California, Gary DiPietro of Florida, Stephen DiPietro of Malden MA, Johnn “Jack” DiPietro and his companion Janice of Florida, and Lisa Marie Holland and her fiancée David Ruddock of Milford MA; also several grandchildren & great grandchildren; 1 Sister: Christine “Tina” Cahill of Milford MA and several nieces & nephews.

Janet was the mother of the late Robert DiPietro of Holyoke MA, who died in 2012.

Relatives &  friends are invited to attend her Graveside Committal Services on Saturday (January 12th) at 11:30AM at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Medway Road (Rte 109) in Milford MA. There are no visiting hours.
