During this most difficult time of mourning and grieving your loss may you be comforted beyond measure as you read God's Word the Bible. The time will soon come when death will be no more. When she was a student nurse Janet worked in my father's (Dr. Paul T. Hayes) office on Church Street in Milford. We lived upstairs and I can still remember Janet's voice from downstairs, a voice that to this very day lingers in my childhood memories. I remember, too, her crying uncontrollably after she had heard the news that my father had died at the end of World War II, and my mother trying to console her. My mother and I were also at her and Nick's wedding banquet. These memories are part and parcel of my childhood.

What a terrific school nurse she was. She found my scoliosis and that of a few others during a screening for it while in elementary school. She was always cheerful, smiling and easy to talk to. RIP Mrs. Tosches. Though another one of our beloved employees of the Hopedale School system has departed from this life, may we always remember them with fondness.
