Joan M. (Santacroce) Fleming

Mrs. Joan M. (Santacroce) Fleming, 68, of Milford MA, died Saturday morning (March 18, 2017) at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late James F. Fleming, who died in 2006.

Mrs. Fleming was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Guerino and the late Eleanor (Smith) Santacroce and attended Milford public schools.

Mrs. Fleming had been employed as a hairdresser at Gail’s Beauty Boutique located in Milford for 14 years. Following that she had been employed at Kelley & Ryan Associates in Hopedale MA.

She is survived by her 3 Daughters: Sharon Montani of Milford MA, Tracy Caprini of Framingham MA and Carla McDonald and her husband Travis, of Oxford MA; 5 Grandchildren: Jennifer Mault of Port St. Lucie FL, Sarah DeFonzo of Milford MA, Nickolas Montani of Milford MA, Dylan McDonald and Emily McDonald of Oxford MA; 1 Great Granddaughter: Rose Mault of Port St. Lucie FL; 4 Siblings: Judy Murray of South Berwick ME, Frank Santacroce and his wife Bernadine of Medfield MA, Jean Manoogian and her husband Chris of Milford MA and June Santacroce Brothers and her husband Richard of Milford MA; also several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Her funeral will be held Friday (March 24th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in the Lower Chapel of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow. Visiting hours will be Thursday (March 23rd) from 6pm to 8pm, at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
