Joseph W. Miller

Mr. Joseph W. Miller, 77, of Milford MA, died Thursday evening (March 2, 2017) at Countryside Healthcare of Milford after a period of declining health. He was the husband of L. Barbara (Ball) Miller.

Mr. Miller was born in Lowell MA, the son of the late Joseph A. and the late Laura (Santos) DuMoulin. He attended public schools in Lowell MA. As a young man he enlisted in the US Coast Guard.

Mr. Miller had been employed as a professional dry cleaner working at numerous dry cleaning establishments in the greater Milford area, including Colonial Cleaners located in Holliston MA.

Mr. Miller had been active in various veterans organizations over the years and had also been a member of the Milford Auxiliary Police Department. He loved listening to country western music and also loved to dance. He was also a “cb” radio enthusiast.

Along with his wife of 33 years, he is survived by 2 children: Tracy Miller and Scott Miller; his 6 step-children; his grandchildren; his 5 siblings: Barbara, Laura, Shirley, Dolores and D. Antonio; also nieces & nephews.

Mr. Miller was the father of the late Joseph DuMoulin and the brother of the late Richard DuMoulin and the late Mary DuMoulin.

Private Funeral Services will be held at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford with burial to follow in Vernon Grove Cemetery in Milford. There are no visiting hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown MA 02472.
