M. Josephine (Costantino) Cacciola

Mrs. M. Josephine (Costantino) Cacciola, 86, of Milford MA died Tuesday morning (February 14, 2017) at Countryside Healthcare of Milford. She was the beloved wife of sixty-three years of Perry  Cacciola Sr.

 

Mrs. Cacciola was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Matteo and the late Lucia (Pagliucca) Costantino. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School as well as Milford Public Schools.

 

Josie lived in Milford all of her life. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and was a member of the Sacred Heart Women’s Club. She was employed for many years at General Electric in Ashland MA, and later worked at the Milford High School cafeteria, until her retirement in 1996.

 

Josie also worked for many years at the polls for elections in Milford. She was also a member of the Italian-American Veterans Post of Milford for many years and was an avid Bocce player.

 

In addition to her  husband, Perry, survivors include her children: Ronald Cacciola of Milford MA, Gary Cacciola of West Monroe LA, Karen Mirabito and her husband Frank of Wilmington MA, AnnMarie Kinhart and her husband Glenn of Milford MA, Perry Cacciola Jr. and his wife Donna of Milford MA and Stephen Cacciola and his wife Jennifer of Sunrise FL; Josie also enjoyed 12 grandchilden: Deshae, Nichole, Christine, Joshua, Brittany, Jonathan, Taylor, Evan, Kyle, Christopher, Julia and Gianna; and one great grandson, Deacon.

 

She is also survived by her sisters Nellie Mastroianni of Springfield MA, Grace Criasia of Milford MA, Yolanda Lancisi and her husband Albert of Spartanburg SC and her sister-in-law: Joanne Costantino of Milford MA; as well as many nieces, nephews, dear cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Lena Costantino, John Costantino, Pat Costantino, Nick Costantino, Angie Pizzi and Joseph Costantino.

 

Her funeral will be held Monday (February 20th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (UPPER CHURCH), 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Sunday (February 19th) from 2pm to 5pm.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Legacy of Faith Campaign @ Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Milford; The Resident Activities Fund @ Countryside Healthcare of Milford or to The Alzheimer’s Association.
