Noel DeMattia Obituary

Ms. Noel DeMattia, 62, of Milford MA, died unexpectedly on Sunday (September 16, 2018) at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester MA after being stricken at her residence.

 

Noel was born in Boston MA, the daughter of the late Noah and the late Eleanor (Moriarty) DeMattia. She attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School, Class of 1973. She was also a graduate of Providence College, Class of 1977. She also attended Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics.

 

Noel was first employed as a store manager working at various shops located in the Faneuil Hall Marketplace and at the Gallery of Museum Shops, both located in Boston MA. She later was employed as an aesthetician at  Ellizabeth Grady salons for many years and most recently at Bioelement salons.

 

Noel loved spending summers on Cape Cod while growing up. She loved gourmet cooking and loved to garden. She was an avid sports fan , especially of the Boston Red Sox and the NE Patriots.

 

Noel was always willing to help family members and friends with anything, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family members, especially her many nieces & nephews and became known as “Auntie Noel” by her nieces & nephews and even her friends children.

 

Noel is survived by her 2 Sisters: Lisa, wife of David Bengtson of Milford MA and Ellen, wife of Scott Augsburger of Oshkosh WI; also many nieces & nephews, especially Elizabeth, Andrew, Lyla and Aurora.

 

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Private Funeral Service & Committal Service will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours.
