Robert Diatelevi Obituary

 Robert G. Diatelevi “Bobby D” passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

 

Bobby D was born in Framingham, MA the son of late Ernest “Lyndy” and the late Teresa Diatalevi.  He attended the Framingham School System graduating in 1960.

 

Bobby D was a Vietnam War Vet serving in the U.S. Air Force, 1961-1965.  He retired from Stop and Shop after 50+ years of service.

 

Bobby D was a lifelong member of the Marchegiano and the Hoboken Clubs.  An athlete his entire life, he loved playing softball with the DiTuccio Mets. He was also an avid golfer and loved the game.  He loved spending time with all his friends who will remember him for his wit and one liners!!

 

Along with his beloved wife Judy (Watson), he is survived by his children; Greg, Justine and Richard, his brothers Ron and his wife Ort and Dick and his wife Pam plus many beloved nieces and nephews.  He also leaves his beloved friend Barney his dog whom he cherished.

 

Robert’s family would like acknowledge the wonderful care provided by Outlook Hospice of Charlton MA.

 

At the request of Bobby D, there are no visiting hours and burial is private. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home of Milford MA.
