Mr. Roger F. Moore, 78, of Mendon MA and formerly Milford MA, died Thursday (April 25, 2019) at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Donna M. (Resteghini) Moore, who died in 2001.
Mr. Moore was born in Framingham MA, the son of the late Meredith R. and the late Edna (Dodge) Moore. He attended Framingham public schools and was a graduate of Framingham High School.
Mr. Moore had been employed at Durelectra in Natick MA for many years, retiring in 1974. Following that he was employed for UPS in Ashland MA. He was a longtime member of the Masons Lodge in Framingham MA.
Mr. Moore loved being outside and doing yardwork. He also loved his many trips to York Beach in Maine. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters, great granddaughters and especially his best friend and oldest son, Roger.
He is survived by 2 Sons: Roger Moore of Milford MA and Shean Moore of Billings MT; 2 Daughters: Sharon, wife of Jose Esteves and Tracy A. Moore and her longtime companion David Indelicato, both of Milford MA;
7 Granddaughters: Jessica Esteves and her fiancé Dylan Sullivan, Janete Santana and her husband Elenilson, Kara Joy Indelicato and her fiancé Daniel Ruhmshottel, Kylie Moore, Katlyn Moore, Ahrieanna Spear and Olivia Moore; 3 Great Granddaughters: Giana Sullivan, Natalie Ruhmshottel and Meekhiala Williams; 1Sister: Lorraine Reardon of NJ; several nieces & nephews & his longtime pet cat, “Candi”.
He was the brother of the late June Cookson; the late Joseph Moore; the late Meredith “Dindy” Moore; the late Norman Moore; the late William Moore ; and the late Richard Moore.
His funeral will be held Wednesday (May 1st) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday (April 30th) from 6pm to 8pm.
