Rose M. (Arcudi) Pearl

Mrs. Rose M. (Arcudi) Pearl, 92, of Milford MA, died Monday (July 9, 2018) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Richard F. Pearl Sr., who died in 1984.

 

Rose was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Maria (Vasile) Arcudi. She attended Milford public schools, and was a lifelong resident of Milford.

 

As a young woman she was first employed at the former Porter Shoe company located in Milford. She later was employed as a waitress at the Café Sorrento and at Richard’s Restaurant, in Milford, even working until the age of 80.

 

Rose enjoyed watching golf and was an avid Red Sox fan. She also enjoyed her occasional trips to the casino.

 

Rose is survived by her 3 children: Roseanne, wife of Bernard Hickey of Milford MA, Patricia, wife of Francis Zelesky of Southbridge MA and Robert S. Pearl and his wife Dot of Medway MA; her Daughter-in-law: Michele Pearl of Franklin MA;  9Grandchildren: Keith Hickey, Cara Hickey, Christine, wife of Robert Veneziano, Kristopher Zelesky, Tyler Pearl, Molly Pearl, Tanner Pearl, Ethan Pearl and Oliver Pearl; 3 Great Grandchildren: Evelyn Hickey, Cody Veneziano and Zac Veneziano; her brother: Joseph Arcudi of Milford MA; her sister: Carmellaa Fernandes of Milford MA; her sister-in-law: Joyce Andonian of Whitinsville MA; also many nieces, nephews & close friends.

 

She was the mother of the late Richard F. Pearl Jr. and the sister of the late Sam Arcudi, the late Arthur Arcudi, the late Jack Arcudi, the late Antoinette Pilla, the late Theresa Bertone, the late Josephine Brown, the late Ann Leoncini, the late Dorothy Malisz, and the late Anita Anderson.

 

Funeral services will be held Saturday (July 14th) at 12 Noon at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Friday (July 13th) from  4pm  to  7pm.
