Ruth Marie (Comolli) Calitri

Mrs. Ruth M. (Comolli) Calitri, 92, of Milford MA, died Friday (January 5, 2018) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence A. Calitri, who died in 2014.

Mrs. Calitri was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Albert and the late Louise (Coletti) Comolli. She attended Franklin public schools, graduating from Franklin High School, Class of 1942. She also attended New England School of Art located in Boston MA.

Mrs. Calitri was first employed as a young woman as a free-lance fashion illustrator. During WW II she had been employed at Bendix Aviation Corporation in Norwood MA. But the job she loved most was being a devoted housewife and mother to her family, which she did for the majority of her life. She was devoted to her family and in her younger years enjoyed dancing & traveling with her husband.

Mrs. Calitri is survived by her 2 Daughters: Lynne, wife of Carlo J. Galvani of Milford MA and Beth A. Calitri of Atkinson NH; 2 Grandchildren: Jessica M., wife of Steven Baltramaitis of Kalispell MT and Joshua D. Costigan and his wife Jennifer of North Uxbridge MA; 5 Great Grandchildren: Joshua D. Costigan Jr., Nathan Costigan, Aiden Costigan, Samuel S. Baltramaitis and Logan Baltrimaitis; also several nieces & nephews.

Mrs. Calitri was the sister of the late Evelyn E. Baci of Franklin MA.

Her funeral will be held Friday (January 12th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in the Lower Chapel of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Friday morning from 9:30am to 10:30am, prior to her Funeral Mass.
