Ruth Ann (Marshall) Salvucci

Mrs. Ruth A. (Marshall) Salvucci, 85, of Milford MA and formerly of Cotuit MA, died Saturday (July 15, 2017) at Milford Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Ralph Salvucci, who died in 2004.

Ruth was born in Parkersburg WV, the daughter of the late Gordon and the late Mary Jane (Collins) Marshall. She was a graduate of Kenwood High School in Baltimore MD.

Ruth was first employed as a young woman at the David Clark Corporation in Worcester MA where she proudly worked on various projects for the space agency NASA and their moon exploration program. She later worked for New England Newspaper Supply Company and then for Honeywell Corporation in Northboro MA. Lastly, she was employed at VEE ARC Corporation in Milford MA.

Ruth was an active member of the Cotuit Federated Church and a member of the church’s choir. She and her late husband were members of the Italian-American Veterans Post in Mashpee MA and had also been members of the Elks in Auburn MA. Ruth was an avid artist & painter. She loved to dance and loved to play golf as a younger woman.

Ruth is survived by her daughter: Brenda R., wife of Joseph Celeste of Mendon MA; 1 Brother: David Marshall and his wife Carol of Baltimore MD; also several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday (July 19th) at 10am at the First Congregational Church of Milford, 4 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Tuesday (July 18th) from 5pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
