Samuel Martello

Mr. Samuel Martello, 90, of Milford MA, died Saturday (September 16, 2017) at Beaumont Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Northbridge MA after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of the late Christine E. (Pasquini) Martello, who died in 2005.

Mr. Martello was born in Milford MA, the son of the late Charles and the late Elizabeth (D’Alessandro) Martello Belmonte and attended Milford public schools. He was first employed by the railroad installing train tracks. He later worked as a plumber in the greater Milford area for many years.

Mr. Martello loved to make art out of driftwood and he also loved to prospect.

Mr. Martello is survived by 1 Brother: Andrew J. Belmonte and his wife Carol of Milford MA;   1 Step-Daughter: Carol Barrossa and her husband Pedro of Las Vegas NV; 1 Step-Grandson: Robert Saletnik Jr. of MA; also several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Martello was the brother of the late John Martello, the late Mario Martello, the late Angelo Martello, the late Philip Martello, the late Jack Martello and the late Josephine (Belmonte) Vignone; He was also the step-father of the late Robert Saletnik.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday (September 19th) at 10am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Tuesday (September 19th) from 9am to 10am, prior to his funeral services.
