Selma H. (Promboin) Tatelbaum

Mrs. Selma H. (Promboin) Tatelbaum, 88, of Milford MA died Saturday (June 10, 2017) at her residence after an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin Tatelbaum, who died in 2005.

Mrs. Tatelbaum was born in Boston MA, the daughter of the late Lazarus and the late Shirley (Mellin) Promboin. She was a graduate of Framingham High School and had also attended college.

Mrs. Tatelbaum was first employed in the retail business as a young woman and then later became a cake decorator. But the majority of her life and the love of her life was being an devoted housewife and mother.

 Mrs. Tatelbaum had been a resident of Milford MA for the past 12 years, and prior to that had resided in Wellesley MA for about 50 years.

She is survived by her 4 Children: Lesli Smith of Wellesley MA, Lori Nadeau of Milford MA, Amy, wife of Tony Lombardo of Milford MA and David Tatelbaum of Bellingham MA;                         8 Grandchildren: Sean Murray of Newton MA, Daniel Murray and his wife Jennifer of Jacksonville FL, Frances Murray of Wellesley MA, George Smith of Wellesley MA, James Tatelbaum and his wife Candida of Grosvenordale CT, Samantha Lombardo of Hartford CT, Erica Lombardo of Milford MA and Anthony Lombardo of Milford MA; also 2 Great Grandchildren: Timothy Murray and Persephone Murray of Jacksonville FL.

Relatives & friends are invited to gather at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA on Monday (June 12th) from 11am to 12 NOON, followed by a Graveside Committal Service at 1:45pm at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,    P O Box #1000, Department #142, Memphis TN 38101.
